easy. There was only one (yes 1), day before his death that he could not get up. This chair was one of the things that made it possible for him to live in our home until his death. Because he could get up easily, he could walk with walker and did not get bed sores, weak muscles, etc. He loved his life, was not confined to bed, and enjoyed guests. The Hospice nurses and guests that came to visit were always astonished at his good nature and joy. Again, I am so thankful for this chair and that he stayed in the home he loved surrounded by people he loved. Little did I know, at time of purchasing this chair, the many gifts it would bring. Most comfortable chair ever made!!

Q: Does this chair offer any type of extension on the foot rest? My father is tall and doesn’t want his feet to hang off. Could you also tell me the full extension dimension? Thabks

A: Unfortunately, the DreamMaker does not have the option to add an extended footrest. However, the LifeChar does have that option. The footrest extender option adds 6” of length. The first 2” are a gap followed by 4” of upholstered pad. There is also an option for medium or tall.
