THE FOLLOWING IS A LIMITED WARRANTY PROVIDED BY ALTWORK TO THE INITIAL PURCHASER OF THE ALTWORK STATION, SIDE TABLE ACCESSORY, DUAL MONITOR MOUNT ACCESSORY AND/OR LAPTOP MOUNT ACCESSORY. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS NOT TRANSFERABLE OR ASSIGNABLE.
Altwork warrants to the original purchaser of this product for five (5) years from the date of shipment to you, this product shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship. If your product does not conform to this warranty during that warranty period, our obligation under this warranty is solely to provide the materials to repair your product, or replace your product at our sole option. We may supply new or reconditioned parts to repair your product, or may replace your product with a new or reconditioned unit, in our sole discretion. You are responsible for shipping costs. Replacement units will continue to be covered by this warranty until the expiration of the warranty period applicable to the originally purchased unit or for a period of sixty (60) days from shipment to you, whichever is longer.
To receive repair or replacement, please contact us at through the address below and provide details of the defect you have experienced. Do not ship your product back to us without first receiving a return merchandise authorization number (“RMA”) from Altwork and clearly marking your package with the RMA in accordance with our instructions. You are responsible for all shipping charges.
We do not provide any warranty for any electronic devices or other products that are not manufactured by us that you use with the product and under no circumstances will we be responsible for loss of these products or damage to programs, records or data. This Limited Warranty is void if the product is misused, damaged, repaired, or modified by anyone other than Altwork or if this unit is resold through an unauthorized retailer or to a purchaser other than the initial retail purchaser. These warranties do not apply to normal wear and tear or damage caused by accident, neglect, product abuse, misuse and/or failure to follow instructions relating to the product’s installation or intended use. Altwork will not be responsible for damage due to service, maintenance, modifications or tampering by anyone other than an Altwork authorized representative. Altwork will not be responsible for injury or damage caused by or associated with the installation and/or use of products in any manner other than in strict conformance with the instructions set forth in its installation manuals and instruction sheets and/or product literature. These warranties do not cover damage caused by a carrier or transportation of the product from one location to another, or alterations made by owner. Altwork does not warrant damages or defects to the products under the following conditions: an Act of God, damage from electrical power problems, usage of parts or components not supplied by Altwork, failure to perform preventative maintenance, or damage caused by peripherals not supplied by Altwork. Modifying or tampering with any part of the Altwork Station will render the warranty void. Exceeding 250lbs on the Seat or the rated load (25 or 40lbs depending on the label) on the Monitor Arm will void the warranty.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WRITTEN OR ORAL (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT) WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT OR THE USE, RESULTS OR DISPOSITION OF THE PRODUCT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE USE OF THE PRODUCT SHALL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL ALTWORK (OR OUR SUPPLIERS OR LICENSORS) BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR OTHER INDIRECT DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA OR LOSS OF USE DAMAGES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE PRODUCT OR THE USE, RESULTS OR DISPOSITION OF THE PRODUCT, WHETHER BASED UPON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ALTWORK HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES OR LOSSES.
Altwork does not warrant that customer’s use of the Altwork product will be uninterrupted or error free. Any implied warranties that may be imposed by law are limited in duration to the Limited Warranty period, to the greatest extent allowed by law. Some states or countries do not allow a limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages for consumer products. In such states or countries, some exclusions or limitations of this Limited Warranty may not apply. This Limited Warranty is subject to change without notification.
